The Current apartment tower, previously dubbed the Shoreline Gateway, is set to break ground this Friday and will welcome Long Beach’s first high-rise apartment complex in over a decade.
Located at the intersection of Ocean and Lime-its address will formally be 707 East Ocean-the $70M, 17-story design was ten years in the making after the property was purchased by AndersonPacific LLC (AP) in 2004. It will offer 223 luxury units, 6,750 sq. ft. of ground level retail space, and some 25,000 sq. ft. of plaza space that will include additional retail and amenities.
